How To Create Your Big Picture Brand Vision in 2022

It’s here—we’re officially our first week into 2022. Around this time, many of us sit down and create that next big picture vision for our lives, our health, and our brands.

This time of year is a time to reflect on the good, the bad, and the ugly of the last 365 days … how did we make the most of our time? What worked well (or not so much)? What did we love (or hate?)

So inquiring minds want to know, what are your big goals for 2022? And how do they align with not only the work you do but in your personal life as well as for your family?

It’s no secret that when we sit down to draw out what that big picture vision for our life entails, we can sometimes feel slight (or maybe a lot) of discomfort.  They say hindsight’s 20/20. So when we look back, it’s perfectly normal to feel a little twinge of je ne sais quoi.

And as we use those reflections to paint the picture for what’s ahead, maybe just maybe, the knots in your stomach start to grow even larger.

Because what went well in our past can paint the picture for what can go great in our future. And what was once a struggle, even up to this point, has molded you into the strong, fierce person you’ve become to handle the beautiful opportunities that lie ahead.

When it comes to your vision, the bigger, the scarier … the better. If it’s not making you catch your breath, while turning around and running in the opposite direction out of fear of what can be, then it simply is not BIG enough.

Don’t worry—I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve to help you navigate these new waters and guide you through the transformation process of cultivating your big, scary vision. Three, in fact.

These methods serve as checkpoints to the next leg of the journey, but it’s important to remember that while it’s great to have a guide, your ability to adapt and embrace change will be huge as you proceed to the finish line.

If there’s anything life has taught us since 2020, it’s how to pivot, amiright?!

So here we go! Three tips to setting your vision for your life and business in 2022:

1. Think Big

The first way to start creating your big picture vision is to write out your goals for the next year, five years, and ten years. By doing this you’re giving yourself permission to dream BIG. ASK YOURSELF:

  • What do you want the next year to look like?
  • In five years where do you see yourself? How about in 10?
  • How do you want to feel this year?
  • What are your core desires and values?Don’t hold anything back — big or small write it all down and continue to look back at it.

2. Believe Fully

Your mindset matters—in fact, it’s everything when it comes to reaching your goals. Because if you don’t actually believe you’ll be successful, you’ve lost before you’ve even begun. INSTEAD, DO THIS:

    • Map out your vision as though it’s already happened. Literally used past + present tense: I am a millionaire. OR I’ve helped transform thousands of lives through my business.
    • Remind yourself daily. Pop out the post-it notes, create a wallpaper in Canva for your phone, write it on your bathroom mirror, talk about it daily with others, and find a coach or accountability partner to hold you to it!
    • Pick an affirmation to speak positively about your potential, your goals, and yourself. Things like…
      • I am enough.
      • I am worthy of my dreams.
      • All things work together for my good.

3. Live It Out

When you look in the mirror daily, I want you to declare what your vision is and don’t stop until it is your reality! Chasing goals is a push and pull… a mix of masculine and feminine energy. There are times when hustle is plentiful and times when rest is non-negotiable. Learn to find the balance to keep going until you’re fully living out your passions. CONSIDER:

      • Adding journaling or meditation to your routine. Start with just 5 minutes a day. 5 minutes of writing out your goals, journaling your feelings, and sitting in your thoughts.
      • Focus on consistency over perfection. Small, daily moments of progress is what can get you further to the finish line faster.
      • Don’t compare yourself to others. It’s you against you, baby. The goal is to be a little better today than you were yesterday. And if today feels like two steps back, then tomorrow is all about getting right back up so you can keep moving forward.

Your vision is what’s going to guide you to your final destination so don’t miss this chance to hit reset (whatever time of year you’re reading this!) to take the space to map out a crystal clear plan for your life and business.

Because if you don’t do this for yourself, who else will? You are worth prioritizing. Your dreams are worth planning. And your future self is waiting…
