Courage … or comfort? ~Brene Brown

I have 3 boys. Yes, three boys (now you know why I have a coffee addiction!)

I remember when I found out I was pregnant with my youngest. I had a 3 year old and 4 month old at home, and was feeling “ill”. The doctor looked at me and said, “you’re pregnant.” I laughed out loud (literally.)

“No, no. I just had a baby.”

“Yes, I know. And now you’re having another…”

Shocked was an understatement. Fast forward 8 years and that surprise baby boy is in 3rd grade, my middle child is in 5th, and my oldest is a tween in 7th (pray for ya girl!)

⏰ WHERE DID THE TIME GO?!

I couldn’t have imagined being a mother to 3 boys. And I couldn’t have imagined being a business coach to (mostly) female entrepreneurs who are changing the world. But in either case, I wouldn’t change a thing! I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

And so are you.

Everything you’ve experienced in your life so far works for you, not against you. Do you believe that? If so, then how big are you allowing yourself to dream these days?

👉 I want you to make two lists right now:

1) What would my life be like one year from today if I did nothing different?

2) What would my life be like one year from today if I did something brave?

As Brene Brown says, you can choose courage or you can choose comfort. You cannot have both.

To decide what you want your life to be one year from now and go after it. To stop wondering what’s possible, and start doing what matters. And I’d love to help you move mountains to make it happen.

If you’re ready to take ownership of your future, let’s talk. We’ll start with a totally free, no obligation coaching call. And if you want to work me after that, awesome. If not, nbd. I’ll still be here to champion you each step of the way.

Either way, make a decision to be courageous—somehow, someway—today.

We’re in this together.
