Oh hey! I’m Nicole Nieves.
I’m a corporate executive turned full-time entrepreneur, married to my high school sweetheart, boy-mom of 3, and on a mission to impact the world one #BrandBoss at a time!
As a first generation college grad, I climbed the corporate ranks pretty quickly. From VP of a Fortune 500 company by the age of 25 to Director of Marketing running multi-million dollar launch campaigns for personal brands to Creative Director leading a team of 20+ for a direct response marketing agency.
Suffice it to say, I’m an achiever at heart (though an Enneagram 7, type 3 was a very close second for me).
You see, I did all the things I thought I “should”:
Get an education
Full-time job with benefits
Married with kids + own my house
Work my way up the corporate ladder to executive status
Then, I lost my job. I felt like the rug got pulled under me. It didn’t make sense. I did everything right. But my company shut down due to PR issues at the top and 30+ of us were let go with just two days notice.
Suddenly, I went from job-security to job-less. After restless nights filled with prayers, tears, and lots of “i dont understand” thoughts, I realized this was a blessing in disguise (isn’t that just how God works?)
You see, though I’d followed the risk-adverse blueprint, I’ve always been a serial-entrepreneur at heart.
From a fondant cake making back in Cake Boss days to an at-home daycare called Tiny Hands, Big Hearts (that I never actually launched because I quickly realized I only like watching my own kids, LOL), I’d thought of it all! I even joined a few different MLMs.
But nothing ever stuck. And I was never willing to take a risk to chase after my entrepreneurial-heart full-force.
Yet suddenly, I was forced into a season of reflection and rest. Here’s what I did:
Applied for job after job, interview after interview, rejection after rejection, wrong offer after wrong offer
More brainstorm sessions reflecting on what I want to do be when I grow up than I can count
All while enjoying 6 blissful months of being a full-time mom for the first time in my life!
Here’s what I did know:
I was damn good at marketing. I valued the heart behind the brand more than most. And I had already successfully built personal brands + marketing plans for successful companies time and time again. Why couldn’t I help the everyday moms, women of color, aspiring executives do the same?
Ironically, around that same time, I received a job offer as a Creative Director for a marketing agency who helped non-profit organizations. I decided that I would do BOTH (over-achiever, remember?) But really, I wanted to build my brand the right way, without any of the financial pressure.
And so, The Brand Vibe was born! As founder + CEO, I vowed to build a company that would…

Six months into building my business, I was able to high-level quit my job, scale to six-figures, and help hundreds of entrepreneurs launch businesses, personal brands, and digital products.
I am beyond grateful for both the ups and downs. Because it brought me to my greatest passion and helped me build a legacy for my family in ways I never dreamed possible!
